Investigation, Hearing, & Appeal Services
Robin Maras is on the Investigation, Hearing, & Appeal Services team at Grand River Solutions. In her role, Robin conducts investigations and serves as a hearing panelist. In addition to these roles, Robin serves as a Resolution Services Manager, where she supervises an internal team of investigators.
Robin has more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Robin previously served as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Title IX Investigator at Utah Valley University, serving over 43,000 students. Robin also served as a Gender Equity Investigator in the Office of Institutional Equity at the University of Iowa. In these roles, Robin conducted Title IX, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation investigations involving students, staff, and faculty.
Robin has led training for students, faculty, and staff on various Title IX topics. She also has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations. Prior to her work in Title IX, Robin conducted fraud investigations and audits for the University of Utah and the University of California, Riverside.
Robin earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from California Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Utah.
