Karen Nutter is a Quality Assurance & Editorial Specialist in the Investigation, Hearing, & Appeal Services Team at Grand River Solutions. Prior to holding this position, she served as an investigator and hearing officer.  

Karen began her legal career as a litigator with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, then worked as a writer and editor for a non-profit legal publishing company. Prior to joining Grand River Solutions, she worked in the equity office of a large research university, as an investigator and report reviewer, on matters related to protected class discrimination and harassment, sexual misconduct, bullying, and workplace violence.  

Karen holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and a B.A. from Grinnell College. She is admitted to practice law in California.
