Jackie Hennard is on the Investigation, Hearing, & Appeal Services team at Grand River Solutions. Jackie also trains and mentors new investigators and hearing officers.
Jackie previously served as the Director of Title IX, EEO and Employee Relations for the Art Institute of Chicago and School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she oversaw Title IX investigations and conducted discrimination and harassment investigations involving students, faculty and staff. Jackie also resolved requests for reasonable accommodations. Jackie served as the Associate Director and Lead Investigator of the Office for Access and Equity at the University of Chicago, where she conducted Title IX, discrimination, and harassment investigations involving students, faculty and staff. Jackie participated in various accessibility initiatives and projects. Jackie also served as investigator for the City of Chicago’s Department of Human Resources where she conducted investigations of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace involving City of Chicago employees. She has also served as a major case specialist for the City of Chicago Office of Police Accountability, where she conducted investigations when members of the Chicago Police Department were involved in incidents that resulted in death, serious bodily injury, or significant media attention.
Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She is admitted to the state bar in Illinois. Jackie is also a certified mediator.
