Bobby Whitehead is part of the Investigation, Hearing, & Appeal Services Team at Grand River Solutions. Bobby serves as an investigator for Title IX and civil rights matters and as an Advisor for parties through campus processes.   

Bobby most recently served as Assistant Director of Community Standards and Student Accountability at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and previously served as Lead Investigator in their Title IX Office. Bobby is also a certified mediator and has used those skills to develop and implement an informal voluntary resolution process as an alternative option to a formalized investigative process in resolving Title IX complaints.  

Bobby has a proven track record of effectuating thorough and efficient investigations into complaints involving complex allegations of sexual misconduct, dating violence, relationship violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, gender discrimination, and stalking. Bobby also has expertise in student conduct investigations involving hazing and organizational misconduct.  

Bobby earned a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration, a B.A. in History, and a B.A. in Public Administration from Auburn University.
