Brandi Williams is a part of the Coordinator & Director Services team at Grand River Solutions. Brandi also serves as a team manager. Brandi serves as a Title IX and EEO Coordinator for large and small public and private institutions across the country.  As Title IX Coordinator, she oversees institutional Title IX Compliance, ensures a fair and equitable Title IX Process, supervises and mentors Title IX staff, conducts trainings, revises policies and other relevant documentation, conducts outreach, and provides support to all parties engaging in the formal and informal Title IX grievance process. In addition, as a team manager, Brandi supervises and mentors a team of coordinators who are also responsible for serving as Title IX Coordinators for both large and small public and private institutions across the country. 

Brandi has over 23 years of experience in Title IX and equity work. Brandi previously served as the Director of Institutional Equity and Title IX Coordinator at Kennesaw State University. In that role, Brandi was responsible for supervising staff that investigated Title IX, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims involving students, faculty, and staff. Brandi ensured compliance with applicable university policies and served as an independent resource for parties in the Title IX and discrimination investigative process. 

Brandi has an extensive background in student conduct. She has conducted investigations, led training for students, faculty, and staff, and participated on hearing panels for student conduct and Title IX hearings. Brandi also has an extensive background in prevention education, policy revision, behavioral intervention teams, crisis response, and protocol development.  

Brandi received a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. She is also a certified general/civil mediator for the state of Georgia and a certified life coach. 

Brandi resides in Winder, Georgia with her husband, son, and daughter, as well as their Rottweiler and two Yorkies.
