Laure Bachich Ergin is a Resolution Services Hearing Officer at Grand River Solutions where she provides adjudicative services and compliance advice to educational institutions.  Laure has served as an in-house attorney for private and public institutions of higher education for the past 26 years.

Prior to joining Grand River Solutions, Laure served as inside counsel at the University of Delaware for 13 years, first as Deputy General Counsel and then as Vice President & General Counsel for the last 8 years.  During her tenure, Laure served as an advocate and counsel to trustees, chief executive officers, senior administrators, faculty, staff and students in the full range of financial, corporate, administrative, operational, compliance, and legal matters.

Before serving in this role, Laure served as inside counsel for 13 years where she advised clients in student affairs, disability services, human resources, equality and diversity, sponsored research and internal audit on investigations and report writing, trainings and education, policy drafting and review, and regulatory compliance matters.  For four of those years, she served as Chief Compliance Officer where she conducted her own investigations and fact findings to resolve complaints and administrative policy violations.

Throughout her career, Laure has been a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).  Laure received her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and her B.A. from Saint Louis University.
