Laura Boren

Laura Boren, Ph.D. works in interim and delegated services, bringing over 25 years of experience working with faculty, staff, and students in public higher education. Her expertise spans crisis response, Behavior Intervention Teams, student conduct, Title IX, and university administration. Throughout her career, Laura has held executive leadership roles in Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Georgia Southwestern State University, Tarleton State University, and Northeastern State University (OK).
Laura is highly experienced in risk management and crisis response, notably playing a pivotal role in implementing risk management measures for student organizations at Texas A&M University following the 1999 Bonfire collapse. She is also deeply passionate about higher education law, as reflected in her extensive work in university policy development.
With a strong focus on individual wellbeing, Laura is committed to helping individuals navigate the complexities of federal regulations while ensuring that policies are applied in ways that promote fairness and support. As an experienced Title IX Coordinator and student conduct administrator, she excels at guiding institutions and individuals through complaints and policies with a focus on balanced, win-win solutions.
Laura earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University and holds both a Master’s in Science and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
