Kimberly Anderson

Title IX Coordinator & EEO Director Services

Kimberly Anderson currently serves as a Senior Solutions Specialist with Grand River Solutions, Inc. Before joining Grand River Solutions, Kimberly served as the Title IX Coordinator for a large urban, public, Research 1, access institution. In this role, Kimberly oversaw all Title IX related compliance, including the response and investigation of all matters involving sex and gender-based violence, and system training requirements for students, faculty, and staff.

In a previous role Kimberly was the senior civil rights compliance administrator for a land-grant Research 1 institution that had Division 1 athletics and a large residential Greek population. She was responsible for extensive compliance functions, including Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX, the Violence Against Women Act, the Jeanne Clery Act, Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various state civil rights laws.

Throughout more than ten years supporting higher education civil rights and Title IX compliance, Kimberly has conducted and overseen hundreds of investigations and internal reviews; successfully navigated state and federal audits, including audits/investigations by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights; and has collaborated to overhaul and rebuild multiple systems and internal processes to ensure adherence with ever-changing civil rights compliance requirements.

Kimberly received her B.A. from University of Idaho, and her J.D. from Northeastern University.
