Kerri Sterowski

Client Success and Business Development Operations Specialist

Kerri Sterowski is a Sales Operations Specialist with Grand River Solutions. Kerri’s higher education experience has focused on working within Residence Life and Housing, Student Conduct, and Event Services. At the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Kerri served as a Residence Director where she oversaw paraprofessional student staff members and served in an on-call emergency rotation enforcing student conduct policies and ensuring compliance with FERPA, HIPAA and Title IX. During her time as both a graduate and undergraduate student, Kerri served as a university hearing board officer with Ohio University’s Office of Community Standards and Student Responsibility. Kerri also sat on the university appeal board and reviewed appeals adjudicated through the OU community standards process.

Prior to joining Grand River Solutions, Kerri served as a crisis counselor with Crisis Link in northern Virginia. In this role, Kerri worked on both the regional crisis hotline and the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, supporting callers, assessing suicide risk, and facilitating intervention when requested or mandated.

Kerri is a proud double alumna of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication (with minors in Retail Fashion/Product Development as well as Theater/Dance Performing Arts) and her Masters of Education in College Student Personnel. Kerri is incredibly passionate about serving others and ensuring everyone has not only equal but equitable access to care and safety. She currently resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with her family.
