Title IX Coordinator Services, Case Tracker and Title IX Product Manager

Kelly Gallagher is the Case Tracker and Title IX Product Manager and is on the Title IX Coordinator Services team. In addition to managing several Title IX offices, Kelly oversees development of essential software and service offerings at Grand River Solutions. Kelly has nearly 15 years of experience in higher education administration, including roles in residential life and student conduct. Kelly comes to Grand River Solutions after serving for over eight years at Columbia University as a senior leader to the Student Conduct and Community Standards office, including oversight of the institution’s Title IX investigation and adjudication processes. Through her experience and formal education, Kelly has a unique understanding of the complexities of the higher education landscape and in identifying the opportunities for valuable collaborative partnerships. 

During her tenure at Columbia University, Kelly was a leader in the establishment of the office that develops, interprets, and applies student policies related to compliance, including Title IX. She also led the creation of the University’s first-ever comprehensive set of policies for overall academic and behavioral standards, creating clear expectations for student conduct. In response to the May 2020 Title IX Regulations, Kelly led a cross-university advisory group including faculty, staff, and students to create Columbia University’s strategic and operational response to the U.S. Department of Education’s updated set of regulations, including the development of a new policy and procedure. 

Kelly received her Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School, her Master of Education degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina, and her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Sociology from Syracuse University.
