Ms. Jasmine Shih is a multi-industry early stage investor with entrepreneurial and Top Fortune 100 company executive management experience. Her unique blend of career experience adds advantageous perspectives and networks to the thinking and strategy of the startup teams. Jasmine’s diverse network across industries and continents, including North America spanning California, Washington DC, Boston, to New York, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Jasmine is bi-lingual in Mandarin and English, with an extensive hands-on operational management experience in creating both non-profit and for-profit businesses, developing marketing and product strategies,refining process management, and participating in several healthcare technology initiatives in both private and public corporations.
Currently, Jasmine serves as a Partner for Edgewood Ventures, and independent technology business consultant serving entrepreneurs from around the globewith collaboration with Stanford staff with various focused labs and center. She also advises several start-up companies including under developed cities and countries. She is also a member of Berkeley Angels, after serving as a Managing Director for Golden Seeds angel investment group. Jasmine has been heavily involved in non-profit and global leadership development for women and underserved populations. After founded and served as the first Co-Chair of Applied Materials’ inter-company non-profit organization, WPDN, in 2005 (still well and live today), her non-profit roles include EMU – HueyVets to serve Veterans, advisory board for Girls Lead Now, Deputy Director for the Global Biodiversity Protection Organization, Clinton Global Initiatives with ending domestic hunger and other health-related projects. Additionally, Jasmine has worked with Fountain Blue in Life Sciences and High Tech sectors, the Clean Energy Forum, and the VLAB at Stanford.
