Title IX & Civil Rights Investigator, Hearing Officer

Jackie comes to Grand River Solutions with extensive investigative experience. Most recently she served as the Director of Title IX, EEO and Employee Relations for Art Institute of Chicago and School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she oversaw Title IX investigations as well as investigations of discrimination and harassment involving students, faculty and staff. Jackie previously served as the Associate Director and Lead Investigator of the Office for Access and Equity at the University of Chicago where she conducted Title IX investigations, investigations of discrimination and harassment involving students, faculty and staff. Jackie was also involved in various accessibility initiatives and projects.

Prior to working in higher education, Jackie has also served as an investigator for the City of Chicago’s Department of Human Resources where she conducted investigations of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace involving City of Chicago employees. She also has served as a major case specialist for the City of Chicago Office of Police Accountability where she conducted investigations when members of the Chicago Police department were involved in incidents that resulted in death, serious bodily injury or significant media attention.

Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She is admitted to the state bar in Illinois.
