Darci Heroy

Regional Director of Client Relations and Engagement

Darci Heroy is a Director of Strategic Partnerships and Client Relations responsible for coordinating and developing collaborative relationships with educational institutions around the West Coast, Pacific Northwest, and Mountain states. Her insights from over fifteen years in the fields of labor and employment, equity compliance, and higher education have provided her with in-depth knowledge of the unique complexities and opportunities of institutional cultures.   

Darci is an experienced hearing officer, investigator, and senior administrator who has performed and overseen hundreds of complex hearings and investigations. Darci has delivered hundreds of hours of live training, presentations, as well as developmental and executive coaching. As a consultant, Darci draws on her former experience serving as the Assistant Vice President, Title IX Coordinator, and Chief Civil Rights Officer for the University of Oregon where she worked across portfolios to coordinate all aspects of campus-wide responses to equity complaints, including crisis management and threat assessment; media inquiries and high-profile incident response; and the collaborative restructuring of programs and policies. Prior to her experience with the University of Oregon, Darci worked as a senior civil rights investigator for the Oregon Bureau of Labor as well as a labor and employment attorney.  Darci has earned  a certificate in international mediation and conflict resolution from the Erasmus Rotterdam program (IIMCR) in addition to completing leadership and executive coach training from the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). She has worked, studied, and travelled extensively throughout Europe and West Africa. 

Darci received her J.D. from the University of Oregon, her M.A. in International Policy Analysis from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (now Middlebury Institute), and her B.A. with dual majors in International Studies and Spanish from Portland State University. Darci lives in Oregon with her goofy spouse, two amazing children, and anxious but lovable dogs.
