Cora H.L. Brumley joins Grand River Solutions, Inc. with 20+ years of experience in strategic leadership. Cora has been responsible for ensuring institutional compliance and enforcement of codes of conduct, NCAA bylaws, state and federal laws, and has expertise in the intersection of Title IX with sexual/interpersonal violence and intercollegiate athletics. She leveraged her leadership roles to pursue justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion for historically underrepresented populations, and rule/legislative reform to benefit all. Cora served on various committees devoted to diversity and legislative affairs; she is most proud of her service to the NCAA Strategic Matching Grant Allocation Committee, the NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women’s Internship Grant Allocation Committee, and being selected to serve on the Minority Opportunities Athletics Association Board of Directors (and Chair of the MOAA Awards Committee, which selects the NCAA/MOAA Award for Diversity and Inclusion).
Cora earned a B.B.A. in International Economics and M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. An inductee of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Delta, Mu Kappa Tau and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies, she was also awarded the prestigious Servant Leadership Award as an undergraduate.
