Co-Founder & CEO

Cassio Conceicao, Co-Founder and CEO, has over 30+ years of executive leadership in the high-tech industry and the education consulting field. Prior to co-founding Grand River Solutions, Cassio held C-level and other senior executive positions in both services and product businesses, ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar organizations.

Cassio helped transform Silicon Graphics International (SGI), where he was Chief Operating Officer, into a leader in high-performance data analytics, and then led its successful integration with Hewlett Packard’s High-Performance Computing & AI division. As Corporate Vice-President and General Manager, Cassio led the growth of the services division at Applied Materials, Inc. from a “break-fix” operation to a $1B business. He was Chief Operating Officer at two high-tech startups that are still operating within their strategic acquirers.

Cassio has been a thought leader on authentic customer interactions and building credibility and value, and has extensive experience in software and hardware product development, sales, marketing, supply chain, customer services, and IT. Cassio focuses on establishing a compelling long-term vision for Grand River Solutions, fostering a results-driven culture fueled by employee engagement and collaboration, and establishing enduring client relationships.

Cassio and his wife of 30+ years live in the Silicon Valley, where they raised their two grown sons. He is on the advisory board of a green energy start-up and is a board member of Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, a nonprofit supporting foster youth in Santa Clara County. Cassio earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in English Literature, both from Stanford University.
