Arlette Henderson
Title IX & Civil Rights Investigator
Arlette Henderson is a Senior Solutions Specialist with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Arlette previously served as a Civil Rights and Title IX Investigator at Louisiana State University. In her previous role, Arlette conducted Civil Rights and Title IX investigations as well as investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation involving students, faculty, and staff.
Arlette has training in best practices in conducting workplace investigations, and knowledge of trauma-informed practices. She has conducted in-person and virtual training for LSU students, faculty, and staff on Title IX mandatory reporting. Arlette has served as an advisor in many Title IX hearings. She also served on the LSU Title IX Steering Committee. Throughout her career, her work as an investigator included developing and implementing internal processes, templates, and communications, and conducting hundreds of inquiries and investigations with complainants, respondents, and witness. In the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX, she has trained each investigator in policy, procedures, and how to properly conduct investigations.
Arlette received her bachelors and masters degrees from Louisiana State University. She currently resides in Louisiana with her family.
