Alan Canterbury is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Grand River Solutions, Inc. In his previous role working for a high profile investigations firm, Alan conducted numerous Title IX investigations, as well as investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, abusive conduct, and retaliation involving students, staff and faculty. Alan has served as a Hearing Officer for Title IX Hearings, and has trained investigators, attorneys, and educational personnel in conducting investigations under Title IX, as well as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation investigations. He has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations for public and private institutions.

An attorney licensed with the California Bar, Alan received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law, where he served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson. A fluent Spanish speaker, Alan also served as a Judicial Clerk in the Supreme Court of Administrative Law for the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Alan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Film Studies from Claremont McKenna College.
