Navigating the New Title IX Regulations: A Training For K-12 Professionals
Join our Co-Founder and Managing Director Jody Shipper for a 4-hour training on Title IX Regulations for K-12 professionals.
For those schools and states under 2024 Regulations:
On April 19, 2024 the Department of Education released its long-anticipated Title IX Final Rule with an implementation date of August 1, 2024. The ruling comes with significant changes to the department’s existing Title IX regulations, impacting policies and practice for K-12 schools and school districts.
The training will cover how students and families can file complaints, Title IX office and employee response requirements, definitions and scope, record keeping requirements, and support for pregnant and parenting students. We will also discuss the intersection of 504 and Title IX in the K-12 environment.
