ABOUT OUR FACILITATORS
Title IX subject-matter experts Andrea Stagg and Kelly Gallagher will facilitate this session.
Andrea Stagg is the Director of Consulting Services at Grand River Solutions where she oversees Title IX and equity support, audits and compliance reviews, athletics consulting, accessibility and disability compliance, DEI initiatives, and Clery Act compliance solutions. Andrea has extensive experience in higher education in-house legal settings at public and private colleges and universities. She has published legal and compliance writing about sexual and interpersonal violence prevention and response, the Clery Act, NCAA compliance, and program integrity. She is a nationally sought after presenter and has advised federal and state legislators on best practices in campus safety and sexual harassment prevention. Andrea is a recipient of the Commissioner’s Award from the State University Police as well as the First Decade Award from the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
Kelly Gallagher is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Grand River Solutions with 15 years of experience in higher education administration. Kelly is a Title IX Coordinator for K-12 schools and institutions of higher education. She served for over eight years at Columbia University as a senior leader in the Student Conduct and Community Standards office, where she led the creation of the University’s first-ever comprehensive set of policies for overall academic and behavioral standards as well as a cross-university advisory group in response to the Department’s 2020 Title IX Regulations. For almost the last decade, Kelly’s primary professional focus has been adjudicating a large volume of academic and behavioral misconduct, including Title IX and other discrimination and harassment cases.
